Information we collect
- Server / CDN logs: Hosting (Cloudflare) may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and performance.
- Local storage: The preparation checklist may save checkmarks in your browser only (not sent to us).
- Contact: If you email us, we receive whatever you include in the message.
- Story submissions: If you use the inspector story form, we store the story text and verification details you provide (for example work email, pay grade/title, contractor, optional name/initials, and years inspected) so we can review authenticity and privacy before any possible publication. You may also email submissions to stories@fema-guy.com (routed for review). We do not publish contact information. A hashed network identifier and user-agent may be stored briefly for spam control on form posts.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may use Google AdSense or similar partners to display ads on some pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other sites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or (where available) industry tools such as aboutads.info choices.
